Mood disorders

Mood disorders occur when an individual’s general mood is distorted and inconsistent with their everyday lives. The most common mood disorders are bipolar disorder, depression, and seasonal affective disorder. Those who suffer from mood disorders sometimes struggle to complete everyday tasks and may lose interest in activities they once loved. CBT paired with medication is one of the most effective ways to cope with mood disorders and help lessen their affects on an individual’s life.

  1. I also find the topic of mood disorders to be quite interesting. There is so much you can talk about with each disorder. Research has come a long way in finding out new information about each of these disorders.
