Therapy: More than treating mental illnesses

When you think of therapy, most people are quick to link it to treating mental disorders, when in fact, therapy can also improve one’s perception of self just as well. Below I’ve outlined 5 major benefits of movement therapy that are further investigated in the attached article. This goes to show that the word “therapy” is much more than we give it credit for.
