Throughout my blog so far, I have been talking a lot about dogs and they are beneficial to our health and well-being. I am also interested in how other animals provide therapy, especially cats. In the article I found, it was very interesting to see how cats can actually help with our health. They keep our hearts healthy by reducing stress and anxiety. They also decrease allergies and lower blood pressure. Like all pets, they are a companion and friend for the owner and this could help in times of loneliness. Some interesting facts found in this article are that a cats purring can actually help with someone’s muscles and bones. Also there are some studies suggesting that cats can detect when a person is about to have a seizure. Pets are so powerful in our everyday lives and they can not only increase our happiness but they can also increase our health.
