In this post I want to touch on how exercise helps depression. When you exercise there are happy chemicals that are released. These are called endorphins. I want to give you a personal example. Yesterday was a very long day for me. I woke up at 4:30am and stayed at school till 3:15pm. I was miserable and completely exhausted. I forced myself to go to my crossfit class even though, I literally had to drag myself there. I performed better then I thought I would ! Once it was over I was in such a good mood. I was happy. I felt rejuvenated and energized!

There is a saying “You are only one exercise away from a good mood”, this saying is true in every aspect.
