What is Occupational Therapy?

Also known as OT, is a type of therapy that allows individuals to work on being independent in their lives. For children, it means to be able to learn, play, and do daily activities such as eating, dressing, and bathing. OT is mostly recommended for children with physical and cognitive delays. Occupational therapists can be found everywhere from schools, mental health centers, hospitals, and etc. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, OT is one of the fastest growing careers.
